Mind Map

Imagen
Based on the knowledge acquired in level six of the English component, I developed a mind map that represents my Personal Learning Environment (PLE). It reflects the tools, methods, and strategies I have used to learn a foreign language, as well as their direct application in my role within the workplace. This graphic representation includes key ideas taken from the article by Kupchyk and Litvinchuk (2020), and allowed me to identify how I manage my learning based on my professional needs, especially in the area of logistical coordination.

Audio - Trajectory, Actions and Solutions in the Workplace Context

As part of the fifth level of training, I made an audio recording in English in which I briefly presented my personal information and outlined my academic and professional career as a future logistics coordinator. I also shared my professional plans, some actions I'm taking to achieve my goals, and possible solutions to the challenges facing the logistics sector. This activity allowed me to reflect on my adaptability and leadership in the professional context, applying structures such as verb tenses for decision-making and responsibility in the workplace.

Presentation of a Tourist Place

During an English class activity, I created a video presentation about Jardín, a picturesque municipality in Antioquia. In this presentation, I spoke in English about its location, its landscapes, its colorful architecture, and the elements that make it such a popular destination. This activity helped me strengthen my communication skills while highlighting the cultural and natural beauty of my region.

Chronicle

As part of an academic activity, I wrote a chronicle in English about Frederick Smith, an iconic figure in the business world and founder of FedEx. In the text, I recount the most important moments of his professional life, his innovative vision for logistics, and the impact of his work on global package transport. This activity allowed me to delve deeper into the story of a key leader in the logistics sector, one that is relevant to my professional profile.

Video Interview

Report opinions on everyday and work situations, past and future, in social contexts. As part of a second-level English course activity, I made a video simulating a job interview for a Logistics Coordinator position. In this presentation, I answered key questions about my professional profile, motivations, goals, hobbies, and future plans. It was an excellent opportunity to practice English communication skills in a professional context.

Brochure

In this English course activity, I designed a brochure that clearly and simply presents the features of the Logistics Process Coordination program. It includes personal information, program details, my interests and expectations, all written in English. I used visual aids and vocabulary related to the field to make it more dynamic and understandable.

Video presentation

Identify everyday and future situations through oral and written social interaction.  As part of an English class activity, I made a video introducing my mom. In this video, I talk about her personal characteristics, her nationality, where she lives, her hobbies, and some of the activities she does every day. It was an opportunity to practice speaking English and share a little about a very important person in my life .
